Alex Iosiovich

Alex is in his second year with the WPU hockey team. He oversees the public relations and marketing aspects of the team and serves as the broadcaster for all home and away games on the team’s live webcast. Alex has also been responsible for the maintaining of the team website. Alex has been active in creating a team identity on campus and a growing fan base.  

All website articles and press releases are written by Alex. He also handles the media that cover the games by accommodating them with player interviews, lockerroom tours, and access to the games. He also creates the team game-day itinerary and accommodates the visiting team upon their arrival at the Ice Vault Arena. Alex has been vital in the growth of the WPU hockey organization. The WPU hockey program was a springboard for Alex in attaining his internship in the summer of 2008 with the New York Rangers. He now brings what he learned and experienced with the Rangers to the WPU program.

Alex hopes to work for an NHL team upon graduating from William Paterson University with a degree in communication. He resides in Union, New Jersey and works as part of the NY Rangers game night staff.
